Vermilion County Landmarks Series of Prints
As a watercolor artist living in Danville, Illinois, I am pleased to announce that I am producing a series of paintings depicting significant and recognizable landmarks located within Vermilion County, Illinois. Buildings of historical and architectural value are especially targeted for inclusion in this series.
I am seeking organizations associated with a local landmark to sponsor "Artist Signed Limited Edition Prints." I am especially interested in making the prints available to organizations for fundraising purposes, as well as entities seeking to raise money to restore or preserve their historic, landmark building.
The prints will be reproduced from an original watercolor painting using a state-of-the-art giclee printing process. The prints will be created on archival quality watercolor paper utilizing pigment based inks which, under normal conditions, will not fade or yellow over time. Giclee prints are of such high quality that they are virtually indistinguishable from the original painting.
The prints will be a great investment for buyers and collectors; especially for those who choose to purchase the complete collection in the series. Due to the fact that there will only be a limited quantity that will be signed by the artist, the prints will become a collector's item and increase in value over time. The prints will also be sought after by collectors of fine art, as well as those interested in Vermilion County history and memorabilia. They are likely to become cherished heirlooms that will be valued for generations.
The following landmarks are under consideration for this series:
Vermilion County Museum, the Lamon House (print available), Mann's Chapel, Carnegie Library/War Museum, Fischer Theater, Vermilion County Courthouse, Federal Courthouse, Harrison Park Clubhouse, Danville Masonic Temple (print available) Rossville Train Depot Museum, Bunker Hill Site Buildings, Danville Stadium (print available), Veteran's Administration Buildings, DACC Buildings, Hegeler Mansion, St. James Church, St. Paul's Church, First Presbyterian Church (print available), Kathryn Randolph Theater (print available), Danville City Skyline, Lake Vermilion, Heron Park Boardwalk, Stony Creek Bridge, Spring Hill Cemetery, Bresee Tower, Schlarman High School, Danville High School, scenes from local, state and county parks, and others.
If your group is associated with any of these landmarks and is interested in celebrating it and raising money in the process, please contact Amy Chrisman (217) 497-4686, or email Chrismanstudio@aol.com
